Default Help with my hermanns house please

So I am about to start building my table for the new arrival and i just want peoples opinions on if it sounds good before i start. I was thinking of using pine and varnishing it so its waterproof, then putting some kind of waterproof sheet across the bottom under the coco coir. I was toying with the idea of adding a wooden light stand but i think id prefer to clamp the light to the side of the table instead. If i do this can i get a decent height for the light? Hope this all makes sense

Having the choice of where to put the lamp is always better than somewhere static:0) It allows you to find the best place for it.

oh decent height question - depends on size of tortoise ....should be absolutely fine. if not, then piece of extended wood would do the trick, clip it higher and angled CB
