Another dog treat that´s home made, lasts for ages and is inexpensive is baked liver. Most dogs cannot resist it. Get some fresh liver from the butcher, slice it VERY thinly in fillets then bake in a VERY slow oven for several hours. I used to put it in all night. It comes out hard, dry and stores easily for months. Just break it into little pieces to offer when the dog does the right thing. But I think your adopted dog seriously needs professional help if she is to become a much loved addition and not something which will eventually stress you and your family out and end up wishing you´d never clapped eyes on her!
