chris ive used B&Q steralised top soil with no problems

in the past i mixed it with about 20% play sand

now i just use the top soil xx

personally i would not use calci sand

think wild what do the torts use in the wild xx

I use just topsoil alone.

don't get stuff with added nutrients as it will have fertiliser in it, plain sterilised topsoil is what you want

I have redi-grass in with kreacher but she still digs in the soil and sleeps there so a bit of a waste of money really lol

i got b nq branbd top sol, is steerilised but does have added nuutrients bt as far as i read up shouyld be fine. thanks everyone

oh i alreadyt have ready greass as my horse eats it

I too use the B&Q topsoil. Its good stuff.

I keep mine in the shed so usually pop some in a bucket and put the bucket next to the radiator for a hour or so. Just to take the chill off.

Yup, I use topsoil with a bit of readi-grass in the sleeping area. I bought a huge bag of this last year and I'm using it just to get rid. I wouldn't bother with readi-grass again particularly, although the torts haven't complained
