Default Warm bath or tepid bath

I'm confused now, not sure about this, when winding down your tort , do you give warm baths or tepid baths. ( for those of you who hibernate your torts)
Does a warm bath activate them when they are cooling down, I will be very interested in your thoughts.

What I do suze is as the temps are reduced I reduce the temp of the baths, so warm while the heat lamps are on, then tepid when they are finally switched off, then cool when they are cool if you know what I mean, I use the warmth of the tort to guide me x

I find getting her completely dry can be a problem without a little extra heat.
I tend to not bother bathing in the last week and give 3 or 4 slightly warm baths and a quick dry off in the third week. Nothings going to activate her anyway, she's the one who wants to hibernate.

Thanks you two, that makes sense, it's just that some one said to me only tepid baths and I thought I'm not sure about that. I'll what you lovely people think.

I reduce the temp as wind down progress's.

One of my males wets himself during hibernation every year & I soak him, when its dark in 15 degree water, dry him VERY thoroughly give him fresh bedding & put him back in his box. He has been fine & doesn't wake up at all.
