You have a Hermanns tortoise, Testudo hermanni boettgeri He's probably between 75 and 90 years old.

Thank you very much is there anyway i can get an exact age also he has mated with my 12 year old marginated and my 12 year old horse field my horsefield has laid before but only laid them on the surface but after the mateing she dug a hole and then covered the hole back in with 2 eggs in also this is the first time my marginated laid eggs and she also dug a hole and filled it in with 4 eggs in . All eggs are in an incubator . Will these eggs be fertile and will they be normal colour or a strange colour from crossbreeding also how much longer do you think he will live for. Thank you very much

It's possible all the eggs are fertile, but most likely few if any are. When were the eggs laid? What temperature are you incubating at?
Nope, can't give you an exact age. Danny

You have a lovely looking tortoise there, but why would you intentionally let him cross breed with your Marginated and Horsefield??

Lovely old tort - he is gorgeous and should have many more years in front of him with proper care and tlc Would suggest, like Andy, that cross breeding is not really a good idea

It happened by accident they were in seperate parts of the garden but they still got to each other. I am thinking of selling him what do you think is a good price to ask for him?

The 10th of October hasn't even got here yet
32C will get you all or almost all females and not males. Danny
