Its not the height of the light itself, you need a good level of brightness over the whole enclosure !

Hi
I have 2 horsfields and they are both still quite active, but I am still putting them out every day! They are both waking before me in the mornings and I'm putting their light on at about 7.15am. I make sure they've had a warm up and then put them outside at about 8.30am if it's not too cold, or after lunch if it is quite cold. I bring them in at about 5.00pm and that's when I bath and feed them too. So far they are still quite lively, but it is getting dark early and is much cooler than a few weeks ago, so maybe yours are just on a wind down. |
