MArginated / hermanns breeder southwest
Good day!
I am hoping to add a shelled friend to our family and I'm wondering if there may be any breeders in the southwest area (i live in Torbay) that have newborns or young marginated or Hermans tortoises for sale. I'm interested in local recommended breeders as it is difficuilt to travel miles away and am a new owner and don't want to subject our first pet to a possible courier that may not be very careful. If anyone is aware of any reputable breeders with hatchlings/yearlings on offer for adoption or purchase I would be keen to know. I know there is a Spur thighed breeder nearby and we have already sponken. Horsfields might be acceptable (just need to reinforce the frame i build ) Tortoise will be going to a young family with one 4 year old and a new baby. I'll be looking after them principally. I have a bit of space that would be ample for a hatchling in our garden with possibility to extend as it grows. but there is a bit of an upper limit. Its a garden but it's still small. Any advice welcomed! |

When you first join your post doesn't appear straight away. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
