I've never tried but I might when I'm back in my house - when it's back in season.
Is it the long seed like things that grow by the ribwort leaves that you kind of scatter in any old bit of garden soil?
xx
I haven't had a problem with ribwort plantain but the broad-leaved plantain has never really established well in my garden.
I scatter the seed heads and they must germinate because the ribwort plantain does quite well.

ahh...might just be the broadleaf then, Em, maybe that's where I was getting that from. I will try getting some of those heads and just scattering about and see what happens. xx

Cheryl - you got a deal

I remember something about that Rach. It might have been that it didn't come up until year 2 but can't remember for sure. Some plant seeds require a winter of frosts to break them down before they will grow. I used to do the bonsai and a lot of tree seeds require that
