Default constipated little tort

Hi all im having problems with my 2 year old spur thigh charley, she has ate soil we think and now is very constipated , vet took Xray and its bad. im bathing her 3 times a day for at least 15mins each time she is on laxatives and pain killer too . still no poop has anyone any suggestions of what i can do she is full of build up , im so worried micky0

You can give a baby oil/mineral oil enema. It should help to loosen things up.

Not sure how true it is but I have herd that Aloe Vera gives a laxative effect, so if fed this 3-4 days in a row it will result in softening the stools and helping them empty their bowels easier.

You really don't want to be giving food to a tortoise that is that constipated. The food won't be able to be passed and may just come back up. So the laxatives, enemas and plenty of water is what you want to do until everything is passed.

What symptoms made you get her x-rayed to see the blockage?

When you bathe her put her in the bath under her spotlight, the heat helps. How is she now? I had this problem a few weeks ago with my little hermanns she was really straining and I thought it was a prolapse of some kind. After about 30 minutes to an hour she passed some type of calci stone!!! Anyway the combination of heat and water helped poppy I think.
