I came across this when browsing through pics, and I am wondering if that little black tort in question went on to become my tort Baxter. He was a 2007 hatchling bred by Darren, and he was very dark when I got him, aged 9 months. Now he has more yellow between the dark patches but the brown is still very dark.
Can't be 100% but it could just be Baxter

Thumbs up

The dark one looks just look like my George! Both my hatchlings from last year looked completey different. I can't wait to see what next years look like.
Lovely hatchlings! Wish you the best of luck with them
