Worms - yuck!!
Since Victor had his overshot jaw trimmed he became a bit under the weather so went back to the Vet. Was prescribed baytril and wormed. The latter was done as his friend Jelly showed worm eggs in his sample, but at the time Victor wasn't pooing so I couldn't get one. This was a couple of weeks ago and he started eating last weekend to my great relief, and this weekend for the first time in ages he did a wee and poo. I got so excited (sad I know) as I've been willing him to do this since being ill.
What a shock though. The poor chap must have passed well over 100 worms!! . His tummy must have been so uncomfortable. I have no idea how big a 3year old Horsefield's stomach is, but his must be very infested. I'm curious to see how many more he passes. He is off for his second wormer dose next week and hopefully it will be the end of these unwelcome visitors.
