Hi,

No it's the following bulb A D Compact Repile Bulb 23w 7 % UVB.

The vet just said that it was a little soft but I was doing everything right and it was probably soft whe I got them. And just carry o with what I am doing.

Weed diet is at the moment they have mainle Dabdelio leaves and plantain with occaisonal pansey flowers.

Summer time they have more varitety mallow, daiseys, etc.

Is this wrong? Thought I was doing everything by he book.

Thanks Chicken

You really need a basking UV lamp, sorry they are quite expensive but last longer so work out cheaper in the long run.

Thanks for your help on uv light.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what sort and where I can buy them?

Their enclosure is 5ft by 3ft so I was thinking of a strip type light?

Their shells are fine on top but a little springy underneath.

Thanks,

Chicken

The best light you can get in my opinion is a Megaray, this is a combined bulb that provides UV as well as heat. They're about £50 but worth every penny, strip lights need replacing every 6 months and these last around 2 years. If you PM Dazza of Kimbo's Reptile World he'll advise you, no pressure

Chicken if you tell Dazza about your soft shells and that it's quite urgent I'm sure he'll do everything he can to get what you want ASAP. I ordered some reptiboost for a sick tort one afternoon, explained why I needed it and I got it the next day
