Help wanted for cat problem!

Hi everyone

I have a couple of 1 year old Hermann's in a decent open top tortoise table. However, we have a problem with one of our cats who keeps trying to jump in with the torts and maybe use the table as a litter tray.

I wondered about putting a perspex or toughened glass cover on top with a number of air holes drilled in.

What does everyone thing about this? Does it essentially turn it into a glass viv with all its attendant humidity problems?

Any advice/solutions (other than getting rid of the cat!!) ?
