Default Leopard laying questions

I have 2 female leopard tortoises that have both produced their first batch of eggs this year.

Honey had hers naturally in the garden but Ernie was induced today.

How often will Leopards produce eggs over the year - is there a particular season?

Will they produce more often if there is a male present or doesn't it make any difference.

I am hoping that the next time will be easier for Ernie and less stressful for me !!!

No Bindi she is sound asleep now - I have spoken to Danny and he has put my mind at rest ( yet again) - he says she may lay the other 2 tomorrow.

Failing that she will need another injection on Monday.

Nothing is ever straight forward in this house Bindi !!!!!!

Ernie has laid one more egg - so just one to go - I left her in the enclosure overnight with the halogen fire on ( I have never left them outside overnight before) but I slept on the soffa so I could keep an eye out !!!!! I am officially going mad.
