that's is beautiful Suze. I have to say I think laying bricks does take some craftsmanship. The rubbish they put up these days I think the ice cream lady up the road could do it with ice cream cones better. I build my step overs out of old bricks laid (no filling just sat on each other like in the Mediterranean sometimes ) 2 bottom one top and so on - and then the middle bit I add a stone or pot. Lovely wall Suze - would look fab as a black and white photo too. I actually think I have a shed and wall fetish. CB

I've decided next year I'm going to grow espalier fruit trees in the recesses , like a proper Victorian walled garden, and a little iron work seat to go in front on the wall across the back of the garden. I like walls and sheds too

how beautiful. I've always longed for an old fashioned iron swing chair.....with a very old sprung foot stool...lemonade pressed by hand..served on hot days....is it summer yet!!! CB
