Dog flea treatment
Does anyone know if there is a once a month pill treatment for control of fleas in dogs in the UK.. Just curious because when in the vets here last week, a rep came in with a supply of these new pills you give your dog once a month and which will completely kill any fleas on the dog in 30 minutes. It was about 2euro a month for a small dog (chihuahua size) and a hefty 14 euro a month for a big dog. Just wondered if Spain was behind the times or ahead of them!

don't recognise the pill thing?
But I use some stuff called 'Frontline' which you apply every 4-6 weeks and kills everything (bar the dog  )

Thats what I use on my dog 'Frontline' one little squirt of the liquid is put on the dog once every 6 weeks and it kill fleas.
Don't think we have a pill though.

Yeah also use Frontline on Tara.. You just reminded me too she due again.. She hates it lol

Yeh my Bonnie hates it too and its only a little squirt of liquid, wonder if it stings abit when applied to the skin.

Frontline is every 4 week for ticks and 8 weeks for fleas, sorry I can sell frontline

The thing i use is similar to whats been said above, 1 squirt but the one i use is every 6 months i think.. and it only costs a few pounds, upsets the dog though since i think it stings... but does the job!

No flea treatment lasts 6 months, I didn't learn flea products for nothing lol
