Edit that, I've just looked at your albums I think you are doing well so far in your condition and having to put something together quickly, it will do until you can sort out a enclosure, as suggested maybe place large slate or limestones tiles in a few plavces on top of the grass, and maybe a bag of gravel so they will have different surfaces x

It has a couple of paving slabs already. Maybe they're not clear. I'm planning to add a soil patch but I can't do it on my own at the moment (got to wait until my husband has time to help!) and I'm trying to figure out how to put one in that the cats won't immediately adopt as their liter tray. I might put a bit of netting over part of the enclosure or something. The tortoise is used to basking on either grass or probably concrete path. It has access to flower beds but they are shady. It does love to dig though so I know it needs some soil.

Thanks! Again, there are some limestone slabs already and the gravel (I was thinking small pebbles instead because they are prettier) is waiting until I have someone to do the manual labour! Thanks for the ideas!

You need to look after yourself too though Hun!! Make hubby do the manual labour!!

I'm sorry to hear you've had a tough time, it's hard splitting everything isn't it? Especially on top of losing a loved one and being so far away.

We are a tort forum but sometimes can forget what the people are going through too!!
Put your feet up once in a while!
