Default UV bulbs

I use a Powersun for my Leopards but it has blown twice, and although the shop covered this with warrenty I would like to try something else.
I have two Sully's as well which have a 10.0 uv tube. I'd rather change this to another bulb along with the Leopard one when it blows again! Any thoughts?
Is the highest a tube you can get 10 btw?

Hi P.W.I.G,

Yes 10.0 is the highest rating in a UV tube.

The best combined UV heat lamp is supposed to be the mega ray check it out at Dazza's site www.kimbosreptileworld.co.uk

Thought so about the tube. It's only 3 months old so in a couple of months I plan on changing it. I want a higher UV for them. They're babies now so I thought a 10 would suffice for a while. Didn't want something too strong if that makes sense?

I checked Dazza's site out. These bulbs won't fit into a Ceramic fitting then?

Not sure about the externally ballasted ones, but I thought the rest fitted the same as powersun and TRex bulbs.

Here is a link to an excellent site about UVB bulbs. Check out the UV Guide Lighting survey towards the bottom of the home page:
