I use a really low wattage (11 watt) heatmat on the lid i.e.above the hatchlings' sleeping compartment. With others I use a low wattage (50 watt)ceramic heater angled above the hide or wherever they choose to sleep. With low wattage I've never found the need for a thermostat though some might feel that's not safe............You can keep temperatures at about 20deg I find.
