Default Strange behaviour

The other day after I had bathed Sheldon and Heidi, Sheldon was displaying some odd behaviour.

I put them both back into their table and Heidi set up camp near the basking lamp. Sheldon walked over to her and spent about 10 minutes smelling her, every inch of her, she smelt all over her shell and her legs and head and then kept walking off and then coming back over to smell her again.
Then for the first time she pulled back and rammed into Heidi and pushed her. She only did it once and then walked off, I can only think it was because Heidi has been in the bath and smelt different so she thought she was a different tortoise. Her reaction was as if she had never seen Heidi before. So I got some of the substrate and rubbed it on Heidi's shell to make hersmell familiar and touch wood it hasnt happened since.
Do you think thats what it was? She just smelt different?
They have both been sexed as females.

As Suze says, maybe she was feeling dominant and wanted to show Sheldon.

I think the key is in your sentence - Heidi set up camp at the basking lamp - Did she ask permission? Ramming can be a bit of territorial going on!
