Why would anyone judge you, Suze? I think the photos of your outside enclosures and all the torts show they're well looked after. Tabitha has a beautiful name for a beautiful tort.
I know you had Sammy and Jemima since childhood and they both look gorgeous, so it shows that you've done an excellent job with them.
How about Emma? I know you sadly lost her, but was she a childhood pet too?
What made you decide to get Margies? They are such lovely tortoises.

Tabitha doesn't have a great shell, partly due to the previous owner and partly my lack of knowledge when I got her. I got margies by accident, I knew I wanted to get some young torts, and I was in Cornwall and went to the tort sanctuary near St Austell , and they had these for sale, and like a lot of people I didn't know where to buy a tort from , so I got these. Of course I had my old ones, but I was new to keeping young ones and growing them properly. Shelled warriors has tought me everything I needed to know, and now I grow lovely torts.

I've seen torts with far worse shells than Tabitha's. Don't let it stop you posting photos of her as she's still a beauty.
Shelled Warriors is indeed a wonderful forum. I've learned so much here too and am always learning.

oooh post more - she is lovely ! All tortoises are beautiful - There was a programme that we are designed - not sure that is the word - to ooodle - that definitely isn't a word - after fluffy cute big eyed animals. I think I must be odd because I can oooodle after a tortoise all day and think ahhhh.
