So pleased he's OK.
Corn flour is best. No it wont harm him at all. It stops the bleeding by basically forming a "scab". It's a good thing to have in your first aid box for animals. I have it for my birds. They can bleed to death very quickly so stopping any bleeding quickly is essential.

Lol I know. He's not been still since he's come back, Wend. I think he wants to go outside but bad mama can't let him for a while. So he's in the kitchen doing 20 laps it seems. xx

Can anyone advise about iodine solution.
Vet said to dab on wound with cotton bud...but I wondered could this be added to Lily's bath? So that its naturally cleaning it whilst he's relaxed? He doesn't like it being touched and I can't say I blame him. Obviously..he could swallow the water. Would this do damage with iodine in the water? Probably a dumb question but I'm just thinking of the best and most comfortable way for Lils to have the wound washed. xx
