Thanks for your quick reply, Sandy.
Like your last one, one of mine is somewhere in the garden and I have still no idea where. The others are just dug down in the cold frame.
I am reluctant to wake them up and don't really have a set-up indoors anyway, as I found they hate being enclosed.
Perhaps I'll just wait a few more days, as the forecast for the next weekend sounds much better.
What a cold Easter !!

It's sickening this ongoing winter. Mine were up and had started eating gradually for that milder week but the last 3-4 days have seen minus temps at night outside and they have buried down again. We currently have 3 inches of snow today and still snowing heavily. It's to change to sleet later then a gradual rise to 8c next Saturday

So sorry to hear about your weather Alan. It has suddenly started to warm up today in spite of the rain. When I went to check on my 2 AT 7PM this evening they were wide awake, I went to pick some weeds and they decided they were coming out! Had to put them to bed at 8pm as they were burrowing down outside.

I did think of you when I saw the forecast tonight as Scotland will be considerably colder. We might even get 14 degrees here tomorrow!

I think you need to change your location for the winter - Snowy Scotland is more representative.

Well we were originally forecast milder dry weather after yesterday but now it's changed to heavy snow again and a max of 2c today
It's meant to be -2 or -3 tonight and sunny tomorrow, we shall see

Nasty here in the west. Light snow but nowhere near freezing however -3 is threatened for overnight.

Totally fed up with it TBH!

Even the typical dull and dreary 12C would be better. At least my weeds would grow a bit.

Well we certainly got the heavy snow that was forecast yesterday, about 4 inches but those in the hills had huge drifts again. Sun out today as forecast but not melting very quickly. Only 15 miles away they have no snow at all! This is the only sunny day forecast for the next week or so but milder at least

I do think of you Alan (and Jonathan) everytime the forecast is on and they report on Scotland. I enjoy cold weather, but this winter has been really extended.

We have had a big change here today. Warm sunshine and the torts were basking outside. So enjoyable.

I hope you have some of this good weather soon.

Sadly we have rain again over the weekend, so definitely not over yet.

I think of you both too and it always brightens up my day when I have a little chuckle to myself.

I couldn’t live any further north than Oxford, that’s my limit
