Thanks all and Eminart, apologies if any offence was caused, I'm sure it was not intentional. I envy anyone who has these beautiful animals in their country. Three toed do look like this on occasion ...

She's 2 years old I think (I'll have to check). The other two are a little larger, I think they are 3. Its hard to see the scale in the photo but she's about the size of a christmas mince pie turned upside down if that helps (dont know where that came from!).
Adults are about 5-6 inches , this is Dave, my adult male 3 toed box turte.
