Cheap B&B

does anyone know of any nice cheap B&B's near a steam railway available for 1 nites accomodation next tues around the lakes, wales, yorkshire... sort of distance from liverpool???

Its our 2yr/1yr anniversary on the wed and we wanna wake up somewhere nice and go for a steam train ride like we did on the day we got engaged!

I went to a great place in bowness a year or so ago called south view hotel, not sure if anywheres cheap in the lakes though!

Pretty sure we drive past some steam railway place on the way to south lakes zoo at Dalton in Furness. If you find accommodation around Barrow/Dalton/Ulverston it's bound to be cheaper than going to the heart of the lakes. We stayed in a lovely converted lighthouse at Barrow once but I don't know if it might be a bit far from the railway place x
