I had seven cats when I had aviaries full of budgies, cockatiels, love birds, zebra finches & canaries. The cats used to hang on the aviaries but the birds were so used to them, they'd ignore them. However, for a non-cat-owning bird-keeper, I can appreciate the birds can be frightened by a strange predator such as a neighbours cat

As I suspected - everybody DOES hate cats. We were making a new outdoor tortie enclosure today & had to move the barrel pond, but when my husband looked for his fish, they were gone ...............

Sorry not the cats I hate so much as for all the poos they leave in my garden. its soooo infuriating. I actually love really bad tempered cats, we used to have a couple of Burmese cats and one of them Ginny was the most bad tempered animal ever. She only liked my brother who used to drag her around under his arm like a rag doll! My favourite clips on You've Been Framed' are the ones of bad tempered cats attacking things and growling. Those and laughing horses and growling dogs. Am I weird?!!!
