Winnies sore tail :(
Hello, I took this girl in last night. She was taken to a dog vet with a growth on her vent and the owner didn't come back for her The vet was going to put her to sleep so someone else took her on. They have had her for a year and have just moved house, have no room for her so she was brought to me. I think although she was apparently treated, her tail still does not look right at all She seems to poo out the side of it. I would love to hear some experts thoughts on this, if need be I will take her to the vet to get it looked at properly. Thanks
I had to take the photo from an angle, its definitely not as it should be

As long as she is able to poo I would not worry. We have a male hermans with a wonky tail from birth called skwiffy!

Poor little thing, i would just see what the vet says, it could be a growth or deformity x

I gently touched it earlier, it feels a bit squishy, like there is maybe fluid inside it.

When it comes to pets, you should always leave it for vets to handle. I tried finding a remedy for my dog's problem online and that didn't go well at all... take him to the vet

Ahh bless. Ive just come back from vets and I asked about my Leopards tale (I rehomed him). The vets said it had been fractured at some stage. It dosnt look like yours tho as georges is bent and looks like a spring.
Hope you get on ok at vets.
