The photo is not very clear but there does look like some kind of intrusion on the left side as you are looking at the vent. If you've ever cleaned an abcess it looks like you can clean that in the same fashion. It looks like it had a cut and fecal material got into it and built up.
Any reptile vet will recognise this if that is what it is. They should easily be able to clean it out.

Thanks for all your replies Apparently she had a "tumour" on it, and it was treated by this vet who had her. Theres no smell at all Bindi Thanks for your take on this Ed, I think I will book her into my reptile vet and get it checked out, just for peace of mind, it doesn't seem to bother her at all, she goes about quite happily and was climbing all day

If she had a previous problem there the odds are good that the feces got into the wound to cause it to swell again. I'll bet it can be easily removed or drained.
