Try to stay positive Rach, I think when the doctor does the initial examination they have a good idea of what to feel for and if he said it was a cyst, he has a good indication that it most likely is... if he/her was concerned that it was anything more serious you would have had an earlier appointment - at least that's the way it works in Plymouth. I know women that have gone to the doctors with a lump and been in hospital within a couple of days... they don't leave it if your a young woman and they suspect BC.
As Alan said keep busy and try to push it to the back of your mind xxx

Rach, I agree with Anita. The Doctor thinks its a cyst and if he thought anything else you would be fast tracked for more tests and treatment. They know catching things early is the key to treatment.
I know you must feel scared, think we all would, and the waiting is hard, but you have to think that because you are waiting its not C.
Big hugs and love Rach. Here for you ♥♥♥

Keep positive Rach.

If the doctor has said it is a cyst then I am sure it is. S/he wouldn't 'name' the problem if they were not sure. About a year ago my sister found a lump, the doc thought it wasn't anything to worry about but she wasn't sure. Jan had an appointment at the breast clinic within the week. They confirmed it was just a small swelling and nothing to worry about. a couple of weeks later it had vanished.

Rach, does it move or is it stuck solid? I had a lump once and it turned out to be something called a breast mouse, called that because it moves about, apparently a C lump is fixed to the underlying structure, at least that's what I was told.
Try not to get your knickers in a knot Rach, it wont make things any different, just sit tight and wait for the all clear, and it will be all clear, I get feelings about this kind of thing and the feeling is good.
