Football, Tennis, rugby? What are all these things? Don't like, nay, can't stand any form of sport. Hated playing it at school and hate watching it, I'd rather scoop my eyes out with a rusty spoon. Thankfully Hubby is the same, he will watch the odd West ham game but only if they are doing well and he watches that on his computer. Give me a good book or costume drama any day.

I love a good book and a costume drama, but I'm Welsh, it appears it really is in our blood, it's the dragon power when it comes to Rugby! I like the men's Wimbledon, the ladies grunt too much :-/

I would also say that if the players were on a much lower basic pay more in line with the rest of us and only got the big bonus's when they won they might have more of an incentive to run a bit faster. They know they'll still be millionaires whether they win or not so why bother!.

I hate football, I think there should be a "sports channel" that everyone can get just so the rest of us don't have to miss the programs we like.
I love tennis also the Grand Prix, so does my hubby, I love horse racing to, the sooner the world cup is finished the better.

I also think there should be a free sports channel as I don't like tennis anymore than football, the grand prix I can tolerate but only because of the nice places its held. We do like some of the athletics, the tour de france and some racing such as the grand national and I have watched a bit of Ascot but more to see the royals, dresses etc than the racing but I don't want to have them change the normal programmes in favour of them. I did watch the olympics but again for those that don't like sport its not fair to have it dominate the tv but I suppose Sky has the monopoly on sports and wouldn't like a free channel.
