The pies

As Ive introduced myself I thought I'd introduce the pies
They are Tobias my Greek spur thigh, he's 4 ( we think he's a he) and my horsfield Mrs Lovett who's 2 and the vet thinks she's a girl. Who knows yet.
I hope this works

Hi Donna. They are both really gorgeous! Lovely to see the pair of them.

If you want us to have a go at sexing them, pop on some plastron photos and we can have an educated guess.....and then Danny will come along and give you an educated answer.

Thank you, I havnt had Tobias that long, I got him because I fell in love with him, and I had a spur thighed as a child, although up until recently ive only had horsfields, so it did mean a shuffle round, with separate tortoise tables and enclosures, and the silent treatment from hubby for about 6 hours

but I am so glad I have him, he's got slight pyramiding as his previous diet was far to much protein, but he's such a lovely character and so funny and so strong willed, he is just a joy to have. He bumbles over to see me and loves a little head scratch. And my horsfield is just a love, she/he is very friendly and will if she's asleep will wake up if I go over to her table. I love them both so much. I did have another horsfield but he was a very sickly hatchling, and although I tried for months with the help of the vet, tube feeding and injections, he just never picked up, and then got a respiratory infection, and started to fade away, so we made the decision to have him pts sleep, I was so bereft and still am.
