Hi All and Thanks for your compliments and advice I have only just noticed all these posts! I will of course add more soil, no problem..Teddy loves to dig down!

The slate was from B&Q £3! Bargain I thought, Its massive and great for her claws/Beak! She loves it out there!

I only have her out when I am home so I keep an eye on weather, I bring her in when it gets a bit cold or rains and then I have a large cover for protection.

Hiya, Well I did think of holes in the base, but thought if I cover it when not in use it would be ok. Teddy wouldnt be left unattended ever so if it were to rain I would be out there straightaway to get her in.
