Ruby Port & Egg Nog
Have two little eggs he says 'Gondon' Style....won't hatch for ages yet....
few days later yesterday evening Gee Gee makes an appearance in record time..so shakey hands camera rocks and only photo.. first drink as soon as put her onto the lid..drank for ages thought she had fallen asleep... teeny weeeny little horsfield tortoise hours old.....is that an egg tooth? some one had to forgo her Xmas pud as it was such a surprise hatching... thought had 30 days odd to go and Xmas... Typical horsfield style Gee Gee rushed around exploring ...I can not believe she is less than 24 hours old......ate everything put in front of her. Nice little sleep afterwards but Xmas pud house stayed empty...typical Horsfield again full of character and sleeps coldest place One little one to come by looks - this is last night And this is today.... incredible...never seen or experienced anything quite like it , hats off to those who preserve the species...& thank you, merci gracias, grazie, thintko,hvala, spacibo, mesi, tak and of course Arigato...Gordon !

Utterly adorable and so good of Nefi P to share her Christmas pud hide. Perhaps they all need one for Christmas!
Big surprise, huge congrats on having some more teeny tinies to love and look after. Can't wait to see numero due when fully hatched. That's making me feel so Christmassy - a newborn baby at this magical time. Okay, so torts hatch rather than are born, but you know what I mean. G, your females rock!

I think you should write a Children's book and use the photos. I just so love the Christmas pudding cave. I am most envious. Can't wait for the next photos. You must be soooooooo busy! Thank you for sharing.
