Default heat in the greenhouse

Another greenhouse question

Greenhouse is up … now I am looking at heating it I have greenhouse bubble wrap coming and am thinking of either a Biogreen MON2.0/GB Montana Electric Fan Heater 1000/ 2000W that includes Thermostat or a tubular heater.

Looking at both I think the electric fan heater tucked out of the tortoises way seems better to produce all round heat.

What do you think?

What is generally used and how do you install away from the tortoises?

Thanks

To also say be careful with bubble wrap can cause fires. It is difficult to heat a greenhouse that's why we use the spots.

I assume the bubble wrap is on the outside in which case it would be safe?

Bubble wrap on inside can be a fire hazard, also that size of fire is sure going to use some electric! Is this just for winding down torts or an all year round greenhouse?

No thats how she keeps them and has done for over 30 years..

Greenhouse, bubblewrapped with tubular heater.. They roam the garden freely and get locked away at night..

Lynn (burnt toast) has seen the setup aswell x

I am looking at using the greenhouse for hibernation and either side of winter. Not looking at overwintering in there.

Insulation:
How do I stop the heat from escaping from the greenhouse?

If bubble wrap is used will it keep enough heat in? If not … what else do I use to insulate? Horticultural centres use bubble wrap inside greenhouses with heaters.

Heat:
If I use a tubular heater will it circulate warm air all around the greenhouse or will the warm air rise and stay at the top? Will they be warm enough on the ground?

If I use a fan heater with thermostat, will the fan heater blow out cold air when it reaches the temperature and cuts out the heat? If so it will blow out cold air when I don’t want it.

Currently they are in the greenhouse with no heat (until I sort out which type to buy) and although recording 18.5 during the day the temps are set to drop and my electrician feels cannot see how best to keep the heat on the ground. He feels any heat I put in there is going to be wasted and escape … or be above the tortoises on the ground.

I have had some great advice ... but still feel confused

I only use tube heaters in my greenhouse but it is attached to a heated shed that they have access to and retire to at night.
