At the end of my tether with Solar Glo

I had two of these bulbs bought around the end of October. Idiot that I am I didnt keep the receipts and both have blown in the last fortnight!!!Has anyone else had this trouble?And can anyone suggest a better quality combined bulb?

Every solar glow bulb I ever had blew, and took the lamp holder out with it

Since switching to Arcadia combined uv/heat bulbs and lampholders have never had any bother

Its a good to idea to also switch your lamp into a surge protector too

In all honesty... They aren't great.
As has been suggested - depending on the size of your table, I would either get an Arcadia combined 160w or for a small table perhaps the 100w.
For a more heat perhaps the Mega Ray 160w or equally the 100w (for a smaller table).

I used to use them and have had exactly the same problem. I did email the company as I didn't keep the receipt either and as a goodwill gesture they sent me two bulbs free of charge. I keep them as spares. I use the Arcadia D3 combined bulbs now and haven't had any trouble. xx
