indian star setup. Advice please
Hello
Thank you for reading this post and if you can offer any help or advice i would be really grateful. I have a large tortoise table built by myself measuring 8ft x 3ft, which is to house 4 female indian star tortoises. I have at the moment fitted 2 UV strip lights the full length which are set on a timer staying on for 13 hours a day. Now my dilemma is i want to create a warm environment with a hot end etc. At the moment i have fitted a 100w ceramic heater at one side but the other side is too cold. What do others use for heating in larger enclosures? Once again thank you for any advice |

Sounds good to me, I have hot spot of 39 and cold end is 22,
Central heating on constant so can't drop below 21. I'm sure some more experienced keepers will be along soon. X

For the cool end I suggest a temperature of 25C for most all tortoises that the keeper wants to remain active.
