Default My eggs

I feel I have to share this. Last month one of my girls gave me 5 eggs. Unfortunately I think those will be infertile because I still can't see anything in them, and after a month there should definitely be something dark in them. Never mind! They are in incubator just in case.

A few days ago another one gave me two eggs, and third female gave me six eggs. (Those are the first ever eggs this last female.) Not sure yet if those two or those six will turn out to be fertile, but it is so exciting that my girls started laying...

Why do you think so, Danny? I haven't tried to candle those yet because they are only a few days old. But just in case you can see it from the picture, what about those 2 - from my girl number 2? I haven't tried yet to candle those either.

My problem is that I have only one adult male, the others are only youngsters. And because the adult is smaller than the youngsters, I think it may be the youngsters who impregnated my girls. So the chances are unfortunately that the may not be fertile. Well, at least I would assume that maybe their sperm is not such a good quality yet, if they are only teenagers in tortoise years. But that's just guessing.

If they are large enough, that's all that matters and not age

How large is large enough for THH males? They are not particularly huge. Only 250-300 grams. But they are very keen to have the job done.

They are big enough to do the job, but with it being their first go not so sure about them doing it properly
