Tortoise microchip
Its 100mm before you can get them chipped isnt it?
It it really the same chip that they use for cats and dogs? |

I think they even use the same huge needle too! I think I read on here though that they're making a smaller chip |

Aww that must really hurt them. My dog cried when his was done.
I was thinking bout getting my gang done but think i will wait a few more years. I just thought id do it for saftey reasons in case anything bad happens to them like stolen. Hear so many stories. |

I think its safer to get it done, but i felt bad enough when they done both my dogs. The torts are so much smaller. Be like us aving a mars bar size needle put into us

ive had Bert (spot) microchiped but wasn't brave enough to take him to the vets my hubby took him,he was ok after but did sort of limp for the rest of the day but im pleased i had it done

they put it into his top back leg and it cost £10 the vet did say it might be a bit sore and he might not be as mobile,so i popped him in the conservatory and he was soon climbing over the patio door frame to come into the house and he ate as normal
