One Show - seized batch of Horsfield tortoises

Did anyone see it last night? They have been following Heathrow officials who deal with checking the importation of exotic animals into this country

Last night they had seized a large crate jam packed full of Horsfield tortoises, it was so sad, the importer claimed they were all CB 2 year olds, clearly lots were wild caught as some were huge

I saw it and it would so sad to see them all packed in like that, I don't know whether that is typical or not as I thought the legal ones were now transported better. If it was typical and that was the correct way it should be shown on the tv more often especially if those poor things were for the petshop trade, it really put me off my dinner
