bark chippings

hi is it ok to use bark chippings the ones in a bag from diy shops for runs etc just wondered if there was anyproblem using it etc thanx oaky great site

It depends on what speices you have.
Med torts dont fair well on bark, as it can hold mould spores if too damp.
Reds and tropical torts do ok with it.
