Actually it looks the other way around Abby If you can post plastron (bottom shell) pictures of all 5 of them we should be able to figure out subspecies.

Sexy is the one with the previously cracked shell, but it has healed and Stumpy has a stump instead of a foot on one of her back legs.

The 5th tortoise is a tiny little male called Malcolm. Apparently he isn't happy when on his own so lives with the girls. (I couldn't take the girls and leave Malcolm behind). I have all there paper work and they are all chipped.

I tried to take some photos but as they were tired and it is late, they all headed straight to the shed for bed, but I did get a few photos of the brave explorers.

Oh these are beautiful, welcome to the wonderful world of tortoise keeping, would love to see more pictures of them and their faces when they settle in.

It will take a while for them to get used to their new home, and errrmmm their names :/ Malcolm is ok though lol x

Aha I know it well. My parents and my youngest sister live there. The railway crossing is a pain in the backside though!

Even worse at the moment with Golden Jubilee Way half shut. We get a break for the weekend though as they are opening it up again tomorrow.

That's good. I just hope the weather improves a little for the torts. I hope they settle in soon, I'm sure they will enjoy their new home
