Default Cauliflower poorly

Cauliflower is having a lovely 2 day stay at costa del vets.

Poor mite has been off her food for a while now after recovering from her RI in June. Only eating small amounts if hand fed and pellets. I managed to get her weight up to where she should be but noticed she wasn't going to the heat lamp for a warm up. Just staying in a corner. She has lost 18g in 12 days so the vet has kept her in and is going to start tube feeding her and running some other tests.

Heartbroken is an understatement

Sorry to hear that Fi. Hopefully the vets will be able to get her feeling better soon and she'll start to regain her appetite. Thinking of you. x

Thank you both. Suze, without making you cry again. My youngest daughter was in bits when I told her. Both of us on the school playground crying

Default Update

Rang the vets this morning to see how Cauliflower is doing and to check up on results.

Cauliflower has a very very high burden of eggs. No worms present in that sample. Still not eating on her own so is still being tube fed. She should be home Friday if they can get her weight up and I learn how to tube her myself

Poor Cauliflower. She must be feeling very under the weather with a high load of eggs. Are the vets worming her too?
Keeping everything crossed for you that she gains some weight and can come home by the end of the week. x
