Albino African snails

Just wandering whether anyone else keeps the jadatzi type(full albino, body and shell)? I personally really like them. I'll try and get some pics up soon. Oh, and by the way if anyone wants some in about a year time(there still young at the moment) I'm sure there will be some babies.

Yes, we have two of them call Cream and Soda lol. They are HUGE much

bigger then my tortoises. No babies yet though and we have had them a year now?

Have never had these - have had tigers, iredelai, and albino margies but would be interested if you bred any

Well, I think they're meant to breed easily but my 3 were born last Autumn so are still young. The problem is that if I do get them breeding I'll get about 50 to 100 baby snails every few months. Mind you though, at least I might be able to sell these ones, have you seen how many normal Africans there are for sale? Wow!

You need to keep the temperatuers up to breed and the substrate deep to encourage egg laying. If you don't want to have hundred you need to freeze eggs as soon as they are laid to destroy them.Its kinder in the long run as otherwise you would be over run

Well the camera is being used for the next week so I'll try and get some photos up next weekend. I keep them in a nice aquarium style tank near my tort with an old fish ornament, moss, lots of soil, a flower pot and a water bowl-which they love to make a mess in. They get some of my Red Foots hibiscus flowers, mushrooms and peppers as well as bits of cuttlefish bone. The set up-minus the size obviously-is similar too.
