My cat's missing
My cat TomTom went missing on Tuesday. He always comes in for his food and to sleep here. It's so out of character for him.
I have put posters up everywhere, knocked on doors around the village, phoned all the vets within a 15 mile radius. Contacted the dog warden, the local radio and the local animalfinders. I spent 6 hours yesterday scouring the verges, hedgerows and accross fields that back on to us. He does have a collar with id tag and is identachipped. I dont know what else to do now. It's breaking my heart. my 4 year old keeps asking when Tom is coming home. My only hope is that he has got himself locked into a shed or garage and will be let out soon, or that someone is feeding him. I think he is still alive, and besides i would have thought that by now a body would have been found if not. Please say a little prayer for the safe return of my special boy x

Oh Rachael you must be in bits, I know I would be if my Topcat went missing, and it's made worse when your little boy is asking after him
Don't give up hope, years ago when a cat of ours went missing he was gone for about 2 weeks, we were devastated and searched everynight for him..then one day our neighbour called, she had found him hanging around the chinese takeaway and brought him home, he had gone a little ferral but was fine apart from that Good luck hun, and I hope he comes home to mummy soon xxx |

Thank you both, forgot i've also contacted the local rescue centre too.
I have also spoken to people who say that their cats also returned after a period of time too, so unless i have a body to see, then i wont give up hoping and pray he will come home.

He's probably been fed somewhere like you said. Hopefully he'll come home soon. He's probably having a nice sleep in this lovely weather xxx

Rachael, Tomtom is a beauty.
I do hope he returns home soon. Cats are very good at looking after themselves.

Awh, thinking of you. Call the RSPCA too. Have you offered a reward?

Thank you, didn't even think of RSPCA. No not offered a reward yet, was thinking that god forbid he was injured it would go towards any treatment needed.

Our cat went missing for a couple weeks, turns out he moved in with a family a few doors up and was being fed fresh fish everyday! Plus with a name like tomtom he'll find his way back |
