Default My Knitting

I thought I would make my own thread instead of hijacking Bindis cooker one.
Here are some knitted toys I've been working on, thought you might iketo see. I will be listing them on Ebay soon (when they have free listing day)

Rupert and his mate Bill Badger.

This is called Bunty Bear.

And Alice in wonderland.

I have the dormouse in a teapot and I am working on the catterpillar. I also have the white rabbit the mad hatter the and Cheshire cat. These are from the original book not the Disney film.

They are fantastic Wendy, they must have taken ages to create
Any chance you could have a go at the Knitted Character from Harry Hill's TV Burp? My boys love him lol

Ha ha, you got me thinking Wendy, I've just found a book, The K Factor: So You Think You Can Knit? should be good for a giggle, I think it has a pattern for Simon Cowell in it

I'd never seen them until now Bindi. They would be so easy to knit if I could find a pattern for them.

It is indeed relaxing, after having 2 major operations in 3 month and having to rest for 6 weeks each time, (still got 3 weeks to go) I have been doing a lot of sitting and knitting. I find it hard to just sit, I have to have my mind busy.

They're fantastic! I prefer to sew and cross-stitch but my daughter is learning to knit. She'd love to make the Alice in Wonderland!

I'll see if I can find the pattern, but the ones I've seen so far are all Crochet and I can't crochet.

I once crocheted a poncho for my daughter but it ended up being a dolly blanket.

Cross stitch is another craft I love, it really isn't that hard. The best tips I can give you is to make sure all the top stitches of the crosses go the same way and to mark off the stitches on the chart as you do them. That way you can see what you have done and where you were last. A good collection of highlighter pens helps.
