Default red earred slider help?!?!

Ok so some one I know works at a vets and a turtle/terrapin is handed in after being found in a park... Believe it to be red earred slider due to red smudge shapes behind ears .... I'm only working on what I've been told... So anyway this poor little thing( or quite big apparantly) isn't eating, the vets aren't sure what to give it... And I'm not sure on what to advise here please help some one, thank you x

this is the only pic i have so far will try for some more

u can buy turtle and terrapin food easily from places liek wilkinsons and pet shops they lovel ive meal worms too as he's probs lived of live food if he was in the park for a while meal worms wouldp ossibly be ur best chance as they have high protein to help him incase theres any underlying health issues

A very unsuitable diet which will foul the water within a few hours. Also, the accommodation looks rather too shaded. Though clearly basking in what appears sunshine, the water area seems very shaded and again inappropriate.
