Treated myself today
Well I treated myself to an early Christmas present today ... a wireless CCTV kit for the tortoise enclosure. It really is great - OH not to happy when i flick them on and his football off though !!!!!
Been promising myself one for a while and had a 20% voucher from B&Q so saved myself £20 aswell. My son thinks I have finally lost the plot. |

not a bad idea at all this
i was thinking of doing something similar after i seen the same kind of motion sensitive cctv set up in badger dens and hedgehog homes. Albeit they a rea little more mobile than our little shelled friends most of the time.

It's a good idea to get yourself a present at Christmas and for your own birthday
You get exactly what you want!

I am a worrier Alan so it saves me several trips to the enclosure at night - at the flick of the switch I can see they are ok.
It does need some tuning though and repositioning - we put it up in haste yesterday just to try it out. I am hoping to put the thermometer in view as well so I can check the temps. |
