Help from Cardiff please
I know a few of you on here are from the Cardiff area - I was wondering if anyone knows of a cheapish B&B near Cardiff Millennium Centre if possible. My son graduates on the 10th July but I need to be there a 9.30 am - too early to travel up on the day!
It will only be for the one night and I need a twin room. I have looked on the internet but they seem very expensive. |

the etap in cardiff has always been quite reasonable...laterooms may be the best bet though...cardiff hotels get absolutely rammed on the weekends so you may have to go outside a bit to get it cheaper
there is an etap in newport too on the side of the m4 |

Thank you both very much - I am not confident enough to drive - I have been many times over the last 3 years but as a passenger - my son will drive up on the thursday night and I will get the train back after the presentation.
His Graduation Ball is at Cardiff Castle so he will stay over until Saturday morning. |

Evie you could try the Mason's Arms motel its on the outskirts of Cardiff approx 3 and half miles but on a direct route to the city centre. If you need the number pm, me will to help.

Thank you Kay - I will google it now - the hotels are nice but I was hoping to get away with a cheapish B & B - one of the hotels Joanna mentioned is £115 per room so I do have that option.

Just had a look Valerie - £70 for a twin room which is £30 cheaper than a hotel - is it in walking distance to Millennium centre ? |

backpacker is a hostel evie and about 20mins walk to town then you'd have to get a bus from town to cardiff bay to the millenium centre i wouldnt recommend that to be honest. Id rather may the extra £30 for a hotel

That is a bit too far away then - thankyou for that Joanna - because of the ashes it is a busy weekend.
I need some where in Cardiff Bay then really? |
