Forum very quiet

Thank you for your kind comments Emma. Yes I did change my user name, it was definitely Mrs Frog's fault lol. Wilf the Paignton rescue is really coming on a treat. I have just got my computer up and running again after moving house so I'm hoping to post lots of pics of my new enclosures and the torts xxx

I think the old members are still here but many new ones who maybe were going to join didn't bother when the forum had its problems, as for upsetting people I doubt that puts the 'believers' off and a good forum needs its 'debates' otherwise it becomes a boring place. Most have the good sense not to reply to negatively to new members but when us oldies get going then it can be good 'fun' and many stay here just those, you'll see people joining in who never normally post. But obviously when a forum has had problems it takes a while for it to get going again but this one has been around long enough to get back to where it was even if it takes a while to do so. I'm on fb but only so I can keep in touch with family/friends and what's going on with them I don't bother with other groups.

Glad to hear Wilf is doing well. I'd love to see photos of your new enclosures and torts.

It is a shame when you have a great bunch of people all together with similar interests and with one thing and another they start to disappear

I remember really busy great chat nights

I am not a FB member and don't intend to join but even on RFUK the other forum I have been on for years it is very quiet and many there set up a FB account and keep in touch that way

We must all work hard and keep this place going, I think this is a unique forum, it has a special atmosphere, that I haven't felt any where else, I don't go on other forums. I've made some very good friends here, who I feel will be friends for life , what ever happens.

This forum is a special one and hopefully people will drift back and we'll get lots of new members, but yes, for now, it does feel a little like a private club!

It would be a little easier for us newbies if it didn't take 3+days for our questions/posts to be published which is annoying I have taken a few of my questions to fb cause I get answers quicker. But I do like being here as I feel I can trust a little more
