Scarfs aaaaaaaaargggggggghhhhhhhh

While I have spent 11 weeks in bed with two fractured bones above my ankle I have knitted over 100 scarfs. Now I need to sell them

Cross stitch is another craft I love, it really isn't that hard. The best tips I can give you is to make sure all the top stitches of the crosses go the same way and to mark off the stitches on the chart as you do them. That way you can see what you have done and where you were last. A good collection of highlighter pens helps.

Great stuff. You could make a bit of cash doing football fan ones maybe

I managed to take up one leg of a pair of jeans on the sewing machine, that's my knitting/sewing world claim to fame. I followed the instructions and it did work okay but there were huge amounts of thread in clumps on the inside . Looked okay on the outside though. My wife picked it all out and said I should have waited for her to do it. I thought I did a decent job even if the length was a couple of inches out

Yes it's down to tension Alan sewing, not swearing and chucking bobins about, that's what went wrong maybe .

They are gorgeous, I haven't knitted for ages, may just have to pick it back up when I have the time The last thing I knitted was a Scarletts Rugby hat and scarf for my hubby for christmas a few years ago
